About

Influences from the creative revolution in the late 60s and early 70s drew Michael “Hutch” Hutchinson into advertising where he uses his unique talent to create memorable visual branding ideas for regional, national, and international clients. Throughout his career Hutch has been the recipient of advertising’s top creative honors which include, The New York Art Director’s Club Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, a five-time winner in Communication Art’s Award Annual, a Silver Lion at Cannes, and the International Marcom Platinum Award for Best Business-to-Business Print Magazine Campaign. Hutch’s TV work on Budweiser Beer placed in the Top 10 of Adweek Magazines Best 100 Television commercials for the 1990s. It was during his distinguished career that he took up photography, first in film then digital.
For many years I worked with some of the best advertising photographers in the business. I took what rubbed off on me and started shooting in the 1980s. It was twelve years ago when I got serious and started expressing my own vision. With my camera I’m able to see into the unusual and create the art that headlines my concept.
